Golf Event and Social Gathering

This year, our annual golf outing is being combined with an evening social gathering in Galway to broaden the opportunity for people to catch up with classmates, fellow alumni and the Timoney team, even if you are not a golfer!

For the golfers, we have an enjoyable challenge awaiting over a splendid course at Galway Bay Golf Resort (with green fees generously sponsored by Connacht Hospitality Group). There will be some prizes and a perpetual trophy with mixed teams competing in a 'Scramble' format. Participants will be welcomed with soup & sandwiches from 12.30pm and tee times start at 1.30pm.

For the non-golfers, we are inviting everyone in the region to come along for evening dinner and drinks at the award-winning Hyde Hotel in Galway city from 7.30pm. This will be an opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow alumni in a relaxed environment.

For those who wish to stay overnight, there will be preferential room rates available at the Connacht Hotel.
