Wednesday, 8th May 2024, 9:00 AM

The Titanic Hotel, Belfast, BT3 9DT

Masterclass

Even excellent companies can sometimes find themselves embroiled in crises that threaten their economic results, their reputations and, in some cases, their very survival. The urgency of the situation, the glare of publicity and the emotional pressures on senior management can create huge difficulties when trying to make the right decisions.

In this Masterclass we will learn more about the leadership issues and main elements of crisis response in its three phases: conflict prevention, crisis management and communication, and post-crisis recovery and renewal.

We will examine the case of the Boeing 737 MAX plus explore leadership lessons from two international cases – a European horse meat scandal and a Danish food company caught up in a Saudi Arabian boycott.

Through a series of interactive sessions, simulations and case study discussions, participants will develop the principles that should inspire the corporate response to any crisis, and the best practices to take action and communicate with stakeholders.
